I am feeling much better but my sinuses are still a wreck. Should probably go to the doctor but there doesn't seem to be enough time! If I am not better - 100% - by next week then I will go.
I have a card to share and some NEWS!!!
I won first place this month in the card category at Scrap N Win!!! I won this last month and never expected to win it again and I am so honored! Everyone should try out for this contest! If you win you get a cash prize and you are also put in a grand prize drawing for a new Cricut!! Too cool!
I also won a Score It in a contest last month. This is such an AMAZING little tool! I have been using it for everything. She is running another Score It contest this month so you might want to head over to her blog and get the details oh and check out the other projects that were submitted - they are amazing!
So here is a card I created for something that is a secret! LOL! I will let you know where it can be seen as soon as I can tell!!
This cutie was created with mostly Fancy Pants Designs stuff! Chipboard, paper and die-cuts from the Happy Holidays collection. I had to add some bling and lace (sigh)... I am feeling "Christmasy" which isn't like me so I am making a bunch of Christmas cards right now! This one was fun and also quick!
In other news (always wanted to say that - ha!) football season has come to an end and I am actually sad! My oldest son will still lift weights and run track on the off season, but I miss the games. I live for those games!! My little one is done too - okay he is 12 but he is still one of my little ones! He is excited to play for the 7th grade next year and we found out that one of my oldest sons coaches will be coaching 7th or 8th grade next year and he is a GREAT coach. So next year will be fun and exciting! My oldest son really wanted to quit because of the (ahem - not going to say it here) "coach". But I think he is going to stick it out. He lettered again this year and next year is his senior year so it is important that he stick it out and play. Maybe the coach will just go away.. ha! Oh well.
And last but not least, my daughter Lauran turned 19 on the 2nd. It is so weird having a 19 year old child! I am feeling pretty old! I am so proud of her though, she is really a great kid!
Oh and one more thing... I have gotten a few emails about my blog and I am so very touched that there a few regular visitors here! It makes me smile! So thanks for checking in and keep coming back - it really means so much! And to my friends over at Making Memories For You that have also been stopping in and have had such things to say... thank you... you girls are the BEST!!!
Hope everyone has a fantastic rest of the week and I hope you get out and VOTE today!!! Let your voice be heard!!
Jill, I absolutely love this card!! You have amazing talent!! I totally hear you about the coach situation...we have had to deal with that this year in both football and volleyball....I am just so hoping that our coaches just go away too before next year (I don't mean anything bad like that...just that maybe they find another school to work at!)And I had to laugh...your daughter and my daugther are the same age...Madeleine will turn 19 on the 29th of this month. I don't feel old enough to have a 19 year old!!(Smile)
